Job Description:/h3:
Boothbay Harbor Yacht Club is seeking a new club manager. The club has been the sailing hub of coastal Maine for over 100 years, welcoming boaters who want to experience the legendary Down East cruising grounds and picturesque Boothbay Harbor.

Our location in West Boothbay Harbor offers panoramic views of the harbor and the boats that fill it. We have an 85:vessel mooring field with available rental moorings for members and visiting yachtsmen and full:time launch service through the summer and early fall. Our facility is open for a 20:week season, serving lunch and dinner as well as catering private events.

The club offers many activities : both on the water and off : for its 300:plus members. There are sailing and tennis lessons for adults and a large junior program offering sailing, tennis and golf. Our members enjoy a summer cruise schedule to explore the Maine coast as well as annual regattas and a weekly racing series. Among other popular activities are a lecture series, special dining events, bridge, kayaking and special interest groups. In the spring and fall shoulder seasons, the club sponsors a competitive high school sailing team.

We envision a leader with recreational sailing and boating experience who will understand the needs of boaters while managing a very busy waterfront enterprise with many competing demands on time and duties.
